Winter Garden's Premier Performing Arts Venue

With a successful inaugural spring season under its cap, the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and the Garden Theatre are announcing its first full season September 2008-May 2009.  In addition to the theatrical productions listed, vintage and family movies, weekend concerts and community events will be added to the season.  Tickets prices vary $15-$25. A “Junk Melodrama” set in 1940’s France. A troupe of vagabond performers with their avant-garde band, Bric-a-Brac, presents the story of the world’s greatest clown and his journey to become a real man. An explosion of stylized song, dance, pantomime, clowning, puppetry – and a Big French Bear! Great for the whole family.

Promoting and celebrating musicl talent with a connection to Winter Garden, this free festival offers a wide variety of musical genres such as jazz, Blues, Country, Classical, Big Band, Classic Rock, Gospel, Celtic, African, Latin, Bluegrass, and Choral Music.  Other free activities include workshops, displays, foord, shopping and a Kidsfest focusing on youth activities.

Zombies from the Beyond

This toe-tapping musical comedy takes its cue from pulp movies of the 50's and is a camp celebration of the American ideals and foibles of the Eisenhower era.  The good folks at the fictional Milwaukee Space Center set to launch their next probe when the sopranic Zombina comes to enslave all the men of Earth.  Think Plan 9 from Outer Space, Little Shop of Horrors and Mars Needs Women mixed with song, dance and laughs galore.

Voci Dance brings to the Garden Theatre a diverse range of choreographic works showcasing their 8th season as Central Florida's premier modern dance company.  Choreography ranges from classical, athletic, abstract, highly stylized to humorous and includes Voci past favorites, as well as new work.

The Claire Lynch Band
